After years of formal study in musical theatre and voice and performing from the east coast to the west coast, Virginia now explores almost every genre in her teachings, instrumentation and singing/songwriting. Virginia performs her own music and other great favorites in different venues throughout Austin and the surrounding Hill Country and now in Asheville, NC. 
​​When she started studying and developing her own method from a teaching perspective, Virginia couldn't resist the idea of sharing her love for singing and her simple how-to approach with others. Over the years, she adopted some powerful mind-over-matter techniques that help students relax, focus and reach vocal goals they never thought possible; a big one being the confidence (and opportunity) to perform on-stage like a professional! Her joy, passion for and experience with every aspect of performing and teaching music is apparent in the founding of True Voice Lessons and is the fundamental spirit in every lesson.
